RSS is a web feed that allows users and applications to access updates to websites in a standardized, computer-readable format.

Let's have a look at RSS feed of Google Alerts:

In the example above, we use freelancer as a search phrase. As the result, Google Alerts returns a list of relevant new articles within this specific subject.

In the upcoming steps, we will transform these articles into nice social media posts.

How to publish your RSS automatically

1. Connect your RSS to LazySMM
  1. The first step is to create a new Campaign on LazySMM (Learn how to create a campaign)
  2. Then add a RSS feed as a data source (Learn how to add a RSS feed)
2. Add a social media account
3. Set up your templates

You should check & set up your templates for every single social media account you connect to your campaign. Because every social media platform has its own requirements (structure, text and image dimensions)

  1. Set up your Text template
  2. Set up your Image template
  3. Add text on image (caption, watermark, logo image)
  4. Create a target URL
4. Activate your campaign

Turn on your campaign, RSS sources and Social media accounts.

5. Allow robots to do the routine work for you!

Our system will periodically fetch the newest articles from your provided RSS feed:

  • In order to extract original title, content, and other assets.
  • Analyze the received content using our algorithms to determine the quality level of an article

If the article meets the minimum requirements, we will transform it's content according to your templates:

  • Apply a set of pre-built text transformation functions
  • Find relevant hashtags
  • Find a relevant images
  • Prepare your image according to a specific social media
  • Publish the prepared post with image on your social media account

Text transformation functions include:

  • hashtags() to find relevant hashtags automatically
  • random() to use a random element from your provided subset
  • translate() to apply machine translation functionality
  • summary() to convert a large text into a summary
  • rephrase() to apply AI rephrase and rewrite your text keeping the meanings of it
  • slugify() to convert a string into a URL slug
  • link() to build a hyperlinks
